I created Pink Reflection as a study in emotional duality, quiet balance, and colour resonance. In this piece, soft, organic forms interact across a divided plane, anchored by rich tonal contrast. At the top, a deep burgundy shape nests within a vibrant bubblegum pink field, floating above a textured off-white ground. Below, a grounding slate grey and charcoal foundation holds a small, vibrant pink arch outlined in pale cream—a literal and symbolic reflection of the warm hues above.
To bridge these contrasting upper and lower zones, I incorporated a fine, stitched-style line pattern along a curving black border, adding a tactile, rhythmic quality that guides the eye through the composition.
